We are Joziah & Lorie Henry, and we are beekeepers! We are new to beekeeping, but our family has multiple years of experince! We live in Gatesville, TX which is 30 miles west of Waco, TX. We love the job that we do, and we are passionate about it! Our Honey comes from love!

We've always been interested in nature, so when we heard about the problems with bee populations and the impact that's having on our food supply, we were determined to find a way to help. We started looking into beekeeping, and we were amazed by how much we enjoyed it! We've had so many amazing experiences while beekeeping; we've learned so much about nature, and it's made us appreciate it even more than we did before. We love being able to take care of these beautiful creatures and watch them thrive.

We hope that by starting this beekeeping blog, we can inspire others to consider beekeeping as a well!

What type?

We have Italian honey bees which is a subspecies of the western honey bee.

Their Characteristics

Italian honey bees are gentle natured, reluctant to swarm and they are excellent producers of honey!

Our bees live in the mountian Cedar Country, soour honey can help one who have allergys, especially those who are local.
